Pitch Panel: 5 tough Claude investors tear into your idea first

A free skill that turns Claude into a panel of five investors whose job is to say no. Each one asks the hard question, then makes an offer or says "for that reason, I'm out." You get the list of what real investors will push on before you're in the room.

Before you start: Works in the Claude app on every plan (code execution on) and in Claude Code. The investors are archetypes, not real people.

Setup

  1. Download the skill and keep the zip as it is.

  2. Claude app (any plan, code execution on): Customize → Skills → + → Create skill → Upload a skill, then pick the zip.

  3. Claude Code: unzip it into your skills folder and restart Claude Code.

Meet the panel

The Operator asks who actually pays. The Royalty Shark only cares about cash per sale. The Brand Builder asks if anyone would tell a friend. The Tech Skeptic asks what stops a bigger company copying you next month. The Mentor asks why you. Each ends with a concrete offer with terms, or one sentence and "for that reason, I'm out."

  1. Pitch in 4 lines: what it is, who it's for and the price, how you'll get the first 100 customers, what you're asking for.
  2. Read the scoreboard: offers vs outs.
  3. Use the fix list: the top fix comes with a rewritten pitch line.
Prompt

Tip: In our test, "grandmas teaching kids to cook, live on video, $15 a lesson" got 2 offers and 3 outs. Out: Outschool already sells this, no lessons taught yet, parents pay by the season. Offers: $25,000 for 10% (Brand Builder) and $50,000 for $1 on every lesson (Royalty Shark). The fix that brings 2 back: run 10 real paid lessons first.
