--- name: vintuxai-motion description: Make scroll-stopping 9:16 motion graphics with Remotion — beat-locked edits, safe zones, springs, transitions and a frame-by-frame self-check. Use for Reels, TikToks and Shorts. --- # VintuxAI Motion Skill Use this with the official Remotion skill (`npx skills add remotion-dev/skills`). It adds the editing rules behind @vintuxai's Reels. ## 1. Format - 1080x1920, 30 fps, max 59 s. Aim for 30–40 s. - Instagram safe zone: keep text and key visuals inside x 120–960, y 220–1600. The bottom 320 px is covered by the caption and the right edge (x > 840, y 1050–1600) by the like/comment buttons. ## 2. The first frame sells the video - Frame 0 must already show the hook as big readable text (most people watch muted). - Show the most impressive visual in the first second. Never open on a logo or a slow fade. ## 3. Lock everything to the beat - Pick a BPM (128 works for most tech/edu content). One beat = 60 / BPM seconds. - Place every voice line on the beat grid; place list items/demos on bar starts (4 beats). - Cut scenes on beats; put the biggest moment on the music's drop, with a short silence right before it. - Camera punch (small scale + shake that decays in ~0.5 s) on important hits; a subtle pulse on every beat during the drop. ## 4. Motion language - Use `spring()` for anything that appears (damping 9–14, stiffness 150–260). Overshoot = energy. - Ease-out (`Easing.bezier(.16, 1, .3, 1)`) for moves, ease-in for exits. - Stagger groups by 1–3 frames (letters, bars, cards). - Text: word-by-word captions synced to the voice, key words on a colored marker. - Never let anything sit still for more than ~1.5 s: idle float, slow zoom, or a pulse. ## 5. Transitions (rotate them, never repeat one twice in a row) - whip pan with motion blur · zoom-through · iris (circle reveal) · slice wipe (strips from alternating sides) - blinds (strips collapse) · halftone dot wipe · RGB glitch slices · shatter (card breaks into pieces) - Each transition gets a matching sound effect (whoosh, glitch, stamp, boom). ## 6. Sound - Voice ~-16 LUFS, music ducked under the voice, final master -14 LUFS / -1 dBTP. - One sound effect per visual hit; nothing silent on screen changes. ## 7. Self-check before the final render (mandatory) 1. Render stills at every scene start and every transition midpoint. 2. Look at each still: clipped text, overlaps, text outside the safe zone, empty frames, unreadable contrast. 3. Fix, re-render the stills, then render the video. 4. Transcribe the final audio and compare it with the script. ## Prompt template "Make a [length]-second 9:16 Remotion video about [topic]. Hook text on frame 0: [hook]. Scenes: [list]. 128 BPM, cut on beats, drop at [second]. Use springs, rotate transitions, keep everything in the Instagram safe zone, then check your own frames before the final render."
